【レポート】レアル・ベティスとのアカデミーメソッドに関する情報交換会

レアル・ベティス・バロンピエ（スペイン/ラ・リーガ所属。以下、レアル・ベティス）のスタッフが来日し、3月14日（金）に、東京ヴェルディアカデミースタッフとの情報交換を行いました。レアル・ベティス・アカデミーの国際コーディネーターであるハビエル・ロペス・アロンソ（Javier López Alonso）氏によるレアル・ベティスのアカデミーメソッドの紹介や質疑応答、意見交換等を行いました。
レアル・ベティスが保有するアカデミーメソッドの紹介では、主に以下の内容が共有されました。（※一部機密情報のためレアル・ベティスより公開を許可された情報に限る）
・アカデミーメソッドは約40名から構成されるメソッド部門が作りあげたものである
・レアル・ベティスが本拠地を置くセビージャという街にとってのクラブの存在意義も要素として含まれている。セビージャの人口が日常生活において重視する幸福を追求する文化を尊重し、人々の生活をさらに豊かなものにすることがクラブの存在意義である
・全てのトレーニングセッションは、攻撃と守備のどちらかの局面、攻守それぞれ4つの「軸」、これら「軸」に沿ったセッションの「目的」を明確に設定している
レアル・ベティスのアカデミーメソッドの紹介を受け、東京ヴェルディアカデミーが保有する育成メソッドにおける考え方との類似性を認識し、自クラブが置かれた世界における現在地を再確認しました。一方で、全てのトレーニングにおいて、クラブ内で構造化された「目的」をひとつ取り上げ明確にしているなど相違点も認識し、アカデミー運営に関する新たな視点を得ることができました。
東京ヴェルディは今後も、パートナーシップクラブであるレアル・ベティスとの交流を深め、得られた知見や洞察を日本サッカー界のさらなる発展のために活用すべく、『Verdy Sports Innovation Hub』を通じて情報発信していく予定です。
Staff members from Real Betis Balompié (Spain, La Liga, hereinafter referred to as "Real Betis") visited Japan and held an information exchange session with Tokyo Verdy Academy staff on Friday, March 14. During the session, Javier López Alonso, Real Betis Academy International Coordinator, introduced the academy's training methodology, followed by a Q&A session and an exchange of opinions.
The presentation on Real Betis' academy methodology covered the following key points:

-The academy methodology was developed by a dedicated department consisting of approximately 40 members.
-The methodology also incorporates the significance of the club's presence in Seville, the city where Real Betis is based. Recognizing the city's cultural emphasis on the pursuit of happiness in daily life, the club sees its role as enriching the lives of the local people.
-Every training session is designed with a clear objective, structured around either an offensive or defensive phase, four tactical "axes" within each phase, and specific “objectives” aligned with these axes.
Following the introduction of Real Betis' academy methodology, Tokyo Verdy Academy recognized similarities with its own player development methodology, reaffirming its position within the global football landscape. On the other hand, Tokyo Verdy Academy identified differences, such as Real Betis’ structured approach in defining a singular, clearly articulated objective for each training session. This provided new insights into academy operations and coaching methodologies.
Moving forward, Tokyo Verdy will continue to strengthen its partnership with Real Betis and leverage the insights gained from this collaboration to contribute to the further development of Japanese football. Through the Verdy Sports Innovation Hub, the club plans to continue sharing valuable information and knowledge.
